Export a GPX file from Komoot
Komoot exports routes and completed activities as GPX files, from its app and from its website.
In the app
- 1Go to Profile, then Saved routes or Completed activities.
- 2Select the route or the activity and choose the download option.
- 3On Android the file goes to Downloads; on an iPhone you are asked where to save it, or which app opens it.
On the website
- 1Open the tour and choose “Export GPX” in the ⋯ menu next to its title.
Good to know
The region where the route starts has to be unlocked in Komoot.
One route or activity is exported at a time.
Then open Kaze and drop the file on it, or pick it: the video is made in your browser.
Open KazeWritten from Komoot’s own help, as it read on 1 November 2026: menus change, and the app’s page has the latest.
